Care Starts Here

Chiropractic is a health profession that focuses on disorders of the neuromusculoskeletal system and their impact on overall health. Chiropractic offers solutions for a variety of conditions, based on the spine and nervous system. In addition, chiropractors can advise you on proper posture, exercise, and nutrition to improve your health and prevent future injuries. By using a natural and non-invasive approach (alignment) to the spine, chiropractic provides effective solutions for anyone seeking to improve range of motion, reduce pain, and improve overall health and well-being.

Unfortunately in Greece, chiropractic has not yet been regulated at present, which means that anyone can call themselves a chiropractor without any formal training or qualifications.
A certified chiropractor has at least 4-6 years of university chiropractic education and did not simply attend weekend seminars.

The Greek Chiropractic Association warns the public about the existence of "so-called" chiropractors with training far below international standards and with incomplete knowledge that makes them dangerous to human health, and urges those seeking a chiropractor to do so only through contact with the Greek Chiropractic Association on the association's website www.chiropractic.gr.

If you are looking for a certified chiropractor in Greece, on the website of the Association of Greek Chiropractors you will be able to find licensed and registered Chiropractors who hold a Chiropractic degree from an institute recognized by the International or European Council for Chiropractic Education (CCE).

What to expect after your adjustment

After a chiropractic adjustment, you will often feel immediate relief. If you have been unable to turn your head left or right, have been living with pain, headaches, or limited mobility, you will notice a significant change.

But if you’ve been suffering from chronic pain for years, don’t expect complete relief after just one session. It takes several adjustments within a personalized program designed to meet your health goals. Then, you’ll enter the maintenance phase. We focus on optimal nervous system function so you can have more resilience, energy, and range of motion — so you can enjoy life to the fullest. That’s what chiropractic is all about: the key to becoming the best version of yourself.

What is the process?

You always start with a initial appointment (history taking) at our center, where we will discuss your symptoms, evaluate you, and perform specialized scans with state-of-the-art equipment.

The scanning process includes the assessment of X-rays or MRI, as well as scanning at our center with the cutting-edge neurological system, which shows us:

  • Where your body holds high levels of energy and tension. (This scan is ideal for people who have difficulty relaxing or have severe tension in the neck and upper back. It is also particularly useful for children with autism or ADHD.)

  • Which parts of the body have been most affected over the years (chronicity).

  • How has your overall health been affected by chronic spinal degeneration.

This scan allows us to pinpoint areas that need correction to improve your pain, performance, and overall well-being. It is ideal for people suffering from chronic anxiety, stress, fatigue, autism, palpitations, hypertension, and more.

Depending on the nature of your symptoms, we will create a personalized care plan and we will inform you of the number of corrections required to achieve your goal.

What is chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a natural therapeutic approach that focuses on the assessment, correction, and prevention of disorders of the neuromusculoskeletal system — primarily the spine. The goal is to restore proper alignment and function of the body, in order to support the body's natural ability to heal itself.

When performed by university-trained chiropractors, chiropractic is extremely safe. Chiropractic involves gentle, controlled adjustments to the spine and nervous system, which are tailored to the needs of each client and have been shown to be safe and effective in reducing pain and improving mobility.

Although chiropractic is extremely effective for relieving back pain, its applications extend far beyond that. Chiropractors can help with a variety of problems, including neck pain, headaches, migraines, joint pain, sports-related problems, and even breathing and sleep problems. Chiropractic can also improve the overall function of the nervous system, contributing to the body's overall well-being. (Learn more about what chiropractic and our centre helps with here).

There are many scientific studies supporting the effectiveness of chiropractic for various conditions. Studies have shown that chiropractic can be as effective or more effective than traditional medical treatments for back pain, neck pain, and headaches. In addition, chiropractic is often safer than long-term medication or surgery.

Chiropractic adjustments are usually painless. Sometimes you may experience a slight pain during the adjustment, but the vast majority of people feel relief immediately afterward. In most cases, the adjustment is painless. The style of each chiropractic adjustment is tailored to each individual, their history, and their preferences.

As often as you want to heal, feel great, defy age and live pain-free! Many people like to have weekly sessions to keep their bodies, especially their spine and nervous system, healthy on a regular basis, as there are many wellness benefits through chiropractic. Because each person is unique on every level, during your initial session, your history and test results will be evaluated and at the second appointment George will provide you with care instructions for your initial care program. For practical reasons, we can calculate your initial program, but this may change depending on your rate of progress and goals. One thing is for sure: your goals and expectations will determine your care plan, frequency and duration.

If there are any medical or laboratory tests (X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, blood tests, etc.), it would be a good idea to bring them to the first session to be considered, in order to make an initial assessment of the problem.
However, if there is no relevant material, Balomenos Georgios will guide you on what you need to provide before the care phase begins.
